It deals with the hazards faced by welders, the use of the right equipment, safety factors and types of welding. The areas covered in the film are Fire, Electric Shock, Eye Protection, Clothing, Fumes, Shielding Gas, Gas Welding and Cutting, Grinding, Mechanical Handling, Manipulators, Hearing Protection, Access, Ionising Radiation, and Confined Spaces. Each section is prefixed with the warning symbol for each hazard. The emphasis is on safety and avoiding accidents.
